Dana Driscoll Shares her Art with our 2027 Conference

“Connected to the Divine” by Dana Driscoll, 2026

Our thanks to Dana Driscoll for sharing her artwork with us for our 2027 Conference, “Wisdom in the Thin Places: Thinking and talking about the liminal.”

The program for this event reframes knowledge creation and transmission through unseen connections among people, animals, and the green world.  Dana’s watercolor “Connecting with the Divine”  beautifully conveys the intention and spirit of our program, linking sacred knowledge with both the rooted earth and the mysterious moon

Dana Driscoll:  “I am an Ollave Adept in the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA) and currently serve as the Grand Archdruid of the Ancient Order of Druids in America. I spent three years intensively studying permaculture design principles. Applying them to nature-based spiritual practice at my homestead in Western PA, my partner Rob and I  work to regenerate, rewild, and reconnect, growing in this beautiful place we are planted. As druidry is a three-fold path, I also practice the bardic arts, both writing (books, website and blog, etc) and magical visual arts. Artistically, I enjoy watercolors, pyrography, leatherwork, natural arts) and wildcrafted functional crafts (handmade papers, inks, watercolors). I am a generational artist, having been first trained by my parents, Mark and Bonnie, who both had careers as artists. My art can be found in decks like the Tarot of Trees, in the logos and banners of many herb and druid gatherings, as an invitation gift, randomly on the street for free, or given as a gift to my community.  “

About this painting, Dana says “This work is called “Connected to the Divine”  and is my interpretation of how I view being a druid in the world–we are deeply rooted in the earth, connected to all of the cosmos, with the splendor of the world around us.”

In addition to her artwork, Dana has written several books including Land Healing: Physical, Metaphysical, and Ritual Approaches for Healing the Earth and Eco-Spirituality for the 21st Century.  Dana’s art and writing can be found at her website The Druid’s Garden.
